From Úhornianske sedlo to Pipitka

Hiking to Pipitka Hill starts at Úhornianske sedlo, where you will find a tourist guide. Access to the saddle is via an asphalt road that leads from Krásnohorské Podhradie towards Úhorná. At the top of the saddle is a parking area where you can comfortably park your car. The red tourist route Cesta hrdinov SNP passes through the northern slope of the hill. So we keep the red mark from Úhornianske sedlo all the time. After a few meters of walking, you can see the SNP Úhorná Cozy from a distance. The road to the top leads mostly along the ridge. You can see beautiful valleys, coniferous forests but also a nearby chapel near the village of Úhorná. The whole route is relatively flat, but the last part can take a while. The circular view that you will get after reaching the top is unrepeatable. The board on Úhornianske sedlo shows the duration of the route 60 minutes. The elevation gain on the route is about 220 altitude meters. There is a cottage around the top, but it is closed. You return the same way.

From Úhornianske sedlo, you can choose the other side, such as Hekerová, on the opposite side as the Pipitka hill.
