Information center Muráň

In the Muráň Information Center, we will provide you with basic information about the natural values of the Muránska Planina National Park, types of trips, and we will issue a permit for entering the national park by motor vehicle. You can take home a souvenir from your visit to the Muránska Plateau in the form of a souvenir purchased in our information center. If you plan to visit the Biele Vody ground squirrel farm, the information center is the place where you can buy chemically untreated and safe food for ground squirrels. It is located in the village of Muráň, near the square on the road to Červená Skala. In addition to the point of sale, you will also find a permanent exhibition of the national park here, which will guide you through the history of the area closely connected with the Murán castle and bring you closer to the individual types of biotopes that are most represented in the territory of the national park. For organized groups, it is possible to provide an accompanying interpretation in the exhibition or make a presentation in the seminar room.
