Muránska Huta
Muránska Huta is located at an altitude of 760 m above sea level, on the border of the Muránska planina National Park and is the northernmost village in the Revúca district. The main road from Muráň to Červená Skala meanders through the picturesque landscape. The local part of Predná Hora is also a part of the village, in which there is a manor house and a hunting lodge of the Bulgarian Tsar Ferdinand Coburg. There is a permanent exhibition of his museum exhibits. Predná Hora also offers recreation with the possibility of year-round accommodation, meals, sports and relaxation in the form of a water world and saunas.
There is also an equestrian club available all year round, thanks to which you can make beautiful trips to the surroundings, in a horse saddle. Muránska Huta is a suitable starting point, whether for wandering through the spa landscape above the neighboring Muránská Zdychava, or hikes: across the Predná Hora saddle to Muráň Castle, next to the waterfall directly above the village for free-grazing horses on Veľká lúka and from there to Muráň Castle, or deeper into the heart of the national park.
