This environment was also loved by the Bulgarian Tsar Ferdinand Coburg, who situated the construction of his hunting lodge on the Horn. It was his place of rest and hobbies - hunting and botany. At the beginning of the 20th century, he also began to build his winter residence here (the current building of the medical institute), which he did not have time to complete. Today you can visit the Ferdinand Coburg Exposition in the chateau. An engaging lecture on the life and history of the Ferdinand Coburg family awaits you, combined with a tour of 7 rooms, ending in case of interest with the screening of the documentary "The Sovereign the Naturalist". The visit must be booked in advance.

In front of the building and in its vicinity there is a revitalized park with a fountain, as well as a sports and recreational area, which are open to the public and offer the opportunity to sit, relax in nature on the edge of the Muránska planina National Park.
