Rožňava Mining Museum

The Rožňava Mining Museum owns rich collections from archeology, history, art history, technology, especially mining and metallurgy.

He exhibits them in several expositions: in the Historical Exposition on Šafárikova street 31, in the Gallery of the Mining Museum on Námestie baníkov 25 square, where you can experience exhibitions of fine art, creative workshops or discussions. Beautiful works of art can be admired in Andrássy's Picture Gallery in Krásnohorské Podhradie and if you want to see what it looks like in a mine, a real mining train, or the 3rd oldest steam cylinder in the world, the address Sentinel Adventure Center, Šafárikova street 43 is the right one. Here you will find the Exposition of Mining and Metallurgy Gemer, Time of Steam, Mining Workplaces and an exposition of nature of the Slovak Karst and adjacent areas.

Multiple exposures are also accessible to visitors with reduced and limited mobility.
