Spa Číž

In today hectic times, the spa has become a place where you can find peace and relaxation in a pleasant environment. The uniqueness and healing effects of salty iodine-bromine water with considerable mineralization make the Číž spa one of its kind not only in Slovakia, but also a rare resource in Europe.

The Natural Iodine Spa Číž treats: nervous diseases, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, diseases of the metabolic disorders and endocrine glands, occupational diseases.

In the summer season, visitors and tourists have at their disposal an outdoor swimming pool complex with a swimming pool, a non-swimming pool, a relaxing massage pool with water jets and hot water - up to 36 ° C, a small pool with water attractions and a three-lane slide.

Spa Číž is located in the south of the district Rimavská Sobota, near the border with Hungary, at an altitude of 174 m.

Healing water was discovered here in 1862, in 1888 a spa was opened, in which Alice Masaryková was also treated.

There are three healing springs: Themis, Hygiea and Neptune, after which the historic building of the spa is named.
